DESCRIPTION:Part 2: Supporting Adolescent Extended Writing: From Ideas to Coherent Expression \nThis session focuses on helping adolescent writers plan\, organize\, develop\, and revise ideas in extended writing. Participants will examine structured\, evidence-based approaches such as Self-Regulated Strategy Development (SRSD)\, explicit modeling\, scaffolded practice\, and gradual release of responsibility. The session will also explore how writing expectations vary across disciplines and how instruction can be adapted to support content-area writing.
