Nonprofit Staff & Volunteer Training

As a vital part of children's ecosystem, it is critical that every nonprofit volunteer and staff member have the knowledge, skills and agency they need across language acquisition and the construction of a deep reading brain.

Nonprofit Certificate of Training

Nonprofits are a vital part of language-centered ecosystems for children.  Nonprofits – from summer camps to volunteer school tutors and everything in between – have a huge impact on the life and success of children beyond school.

The Rollins Center worked with Learn4Life, a Georgia based nonprofit, to create a completely free Nonprofit Certificate of Training, designed to help ensure that all adults have the knowledge and skills they need to make a positive impact on children in their care.

  • There are more than 1.8 million nonprofits in the United States.
  • The value of volunteerism in the United States is more than $184 billion.
  • On average, volunteers spend 50 hours per year donating their time for the greater good.
  • 77% of nonprofits believe that skilled volunteers could improve their organization's business practices.
