The Georgia Department of Education has partnered with the Rollins Center for Language & Literacy, and its Cox Campus, to scale the successful collaboration with Marietta City Schools, which over the last two years, has proven that the science of reading leads to equitable literacy outcomes for all children.

To kick off the statewide partnership, in August 2023, more than 125 district and school leaders launched a growing literacy network in Georgia, committed to aligning professional learning, instructional coaching and teaching practices to the science of reading through structured literacy.
