Brennan Chandler, PhD, is an assistant professor of dyslexia at Georgia State University, where his research focuses on developing and testing intensive interventions for students with dyslexia and other learning disabilities. His work spans reading and writing instruction, with a particular emphasis on foundational literacy skills for adolescents—an area often overlooked in secondary education. A former teacher in both public and private schools, Dr. Chandler is deeply committed to bridging research and practice to support students with persistent literacy difficulties. He focuses on what works for students who have not responded to traditional instruction by partnering with educators, schools, and districts to drive effective, school-based implementation of evidence-aligned literacy practices.
