Yes! Cox Campus courses are accredited by IACET, the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training. Upon completion of a video-based course on Cox Campus, you’ll receive a certificate that shows your CEU is from an IACET accredited provider. Many states and school districts require teachers to use IACET CEUs toward license or certification renewal. Check with your supervisor, district administrator, state department of education or relevant organization if IACET CEUs qualify for your license or certification renewal.
Yes! Cox Campus’s K-3rd Structured Literacy Program is accredited by the International Dyslexia Association for meeting the knowledge and practice standards for teachers of reading. Our program contains 11 courses. The full program takes approximately 71 hours to complete. This includes time to read and comprehend all included resources, articles, and course notes provided throughout, as well as watching the course videos. That covers the KPS and provide learners with critical knowledge for systematic and explicit implementation of Structured Literacy in the classroom. We are thrilled to be able to provide this 100% free, online program to our members!

Yes, you will earn CEUs for each individual course that you take as part of the CCSLC Program. After you have completed these 11 courses you will be eligible to take the comprehensive exam. Upon successful completion of the exam, you will receive your IDA-accredited certificate. (Note: the final certificate does not confer CEUs, but the 11 individual courses do.)
Cox Campus’s Structured Literacy Program is officially accredited by the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) for meeting the knowledge and practice standards for teachers of reading.
There is no required dyslexia training. The Georgia Early Literacy Act (HB 538) does require that all K-3rd grade teachers complete an approved training program regarding structured literacy, science of reading, and foundational reading skills. The Cox Campus K-3rd Structured Literacy course fulfills this requirement.
This program does not qualify for the CERI Dyslexia certificate. This program certificate does allow you to sit for the KPEERI exam, administered by the Center for Effective Reading Instruction (CERI). With this program you will be eligible to apply for the Structured Literacy Classroom Teacher (SLCT) Knowledge Certificate through CERI.

To request a Cox Campus Group, it’s important to first have a Cox Campus account set up. If your group will have more than one Group Leader, please ensure all accounts are created before submitting the group request.
Yes, Group Leaders can invite new members to their group by accessing the Members Tab in their group. To learn more about inviting members click here.
Yes, Group Leaders can remove members from their group by going to the Members tab. To remove a member, simply click the “Remove Member” button next to their name.
Group Leaders cannot add courses to a group directly. To have courses added, please contact Cox Campus Support by clicking the blue support bubble or emailing [email protected]
Group Leaders can view the progress of their group members in the Insights tab. For more detailed information, we recommend downloading the insights data by clicking the icon on the right side of the table.
Yes, as a Group Leader, you can schedule posts for your group. To do so, go to the Discussions tab and click the clock icon next to the post button.
Professional development days offer many benefits for both employees and organizations; however, our courses are self-paced and intended for individual learning. If your organization is gathering for professional development (PD), we suggest that participants complete the course individually, followed by group reflection or structured debriefing sessions. As our courses are IACET-accredited, we are dedicated to maintaining the integrity of each participant’s account and records. Please note that credit will not be issued to individual accounts if the course is completed in a group setting, as we are unable to verify individual completion.
Yes, by completing Cox Campus courses, Georgia birth through pre-k teachers can earn Bright from the Start credits for the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL). All members will receive a training certificate immediately after completing a course. If you are not a Bright from the Start childcare center, check with your administrator to see if RRFTS training can be used for your professional development.
The Georgia Literacy Academy was developed by the Georgia Department of Education, in partnership with the Rollins Center for Language & Literacy and its online Cox Campus. This partnership brings the International Dyslexia Association accredited K-3rd Structured Literacy Program to Georgia Learns as Georgia’s free professional learning offering that meets the professional learning requirements of the Georgia Early Literacy Act. You should not be asked to re-do learning you have already completed at Cox Campus. Teachers have the ability to produce evidence of completion on Cox Campus.
All of the Cox Campus courses and resources are free!
